For the past 16 years, less the years of the pandemic, I’ve been going to the Peruvian Amazon for a special time of ministry called, Mission Aboard. It is always one of the most demanding missions of the year because the heat and humidity of the jungle is a bit too much for me. We take the boat very early on Monday and are back on Friday in the afternoon. The five days are filled with missions messages, missions training, worship times and visits to four different indigenous communities along the river. Each community receives us with dances and they invite us to dance with them!
